Theatre In Boston launched

We are pleased to announce the launch of our newest website, Theatre In Boston. With the number of theatre companies and venues, navigating the greater Boston theatre scene can be daunting. TheatreInBoston will make it easy for patrons and industry folks alike to stay abreast of what's happening where.
TheatreInBoston.com will serve the greater Boston area with the same array of features found on its sister sites, including theatre news, reviews, announcements of show openings and closings, seating charts, links to nearby restaurants, and much more. "I think TheatreInBoston will be a very beneficial tool for the Boston theatre community to take advantage of," says TheatreInChicago founder and editor Mark Meyer. "TheatreInChicago is the one of the top theatre sites in Chicago, and we are constantly hearing feedback from users about how much it helps them keep track of what shows are playing and deciding what shows to see. I hope the new TheatreInBoston site will help those in the Boston be kept up to date on their theatre scene as well."
Although founder/editor Mark Meyer is based in Chicago, he has a team in Boston that he works with to keep up with the events in the area. "The idea is that, while I live and work in Chicago, I have a team of people living and working in Boston that will be the eyes and ears of TheatreInBoston and serve as a liaison between the website and industry people," says Meyer.
TheatreInBoston, like TheatreInChicago, will not charge membership or subscription fees for its use. In addition, it will not charge theatres or production entities to have their shows listed on the site. This allows the site to have the most robust database of shows around.
