Theater Wit's New Flex Pass - The Perfect Holiday Gift

Just in time for holiday gift giving, Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Avenue in Chicago has introduced a 2010-2011 season Flex Pass offering 10 admissions to literally anything presented at Theater Wit - "Chicago's best new performance venue of 2010" (Time Out Chicago) - at the dramatically reduced price of $200, a savings of up to 35%.
According to artistic director Jeremy Wechsler, "Theater Wit's new Flex Pass is designed to be affordable, easy to buy, and most importantly, to spur cross pollination between Theater Wit's own productions and those by our resident and guest companies." To purchase a Theater Wit Flex Pass, call 773.975.8150 or visit TheaterWit.org.
Currently on stage at Theater Wit are the company's own hit productions of Itamar Moses' The Four of Us, now through December 4, and Chicago's favorite alt-holiday comedy show The Santaland Diaries, based on the David Sedaris' true holiday tale about playing an elf in Santaland at Macy's, November 26 through December 31.
In addition to Theater Wit's own productions, other seasonal shows at Theater Wit in December include Patricia Kane's heartwarming holiday play Float, presented by visiting company About Face Theater, now through December 12, and resident producer New Millennium Theatre Company's The David Bowie Christmas Special 1977, now through December 18.
Theater Wit's Flex Pass is valid for a year from the date of purchase, so Flex Passes purchased as gifts for the holidays will be accepted well into 2011. For instance, use a Flex Pass to reserve tickets now for Theater Wit's much anticipated Midwest premiere of Melissa James Gibson's newest comedy This, "the best new play to open off Broadway this fall" according to Charles Isherwood of The New York Times, February 25-April 17, 2011. Flex Passes will also be accepted for a wide variety of exciting plays and musicals on tap in 2011 from Theater Wit's resident companies - Stage Left, Bohemian Theatre Ensemble and New Millennium Theatre Company - as well as visiting companies including Teatro Vista.
